I will send you a link to the manuals shortly, no idea where you might get a key switch though, I do not recall having one on my F43 but the wiring diagram may help you to replace with an alternative!

Thank you, I have downloaded the manuals. It gives a part number for the key switch so I’ve emailed HFL to see if they can supply one.
But failing that, it appears to be a simple 2 position switch, off and on so I would think an alternative key switch should be relatively easy to source.

Hi John,

Yet another request for your manual/notes if possible please.

Mine will start and will run for various periods of time and each time I think I’ve fixed it and then it inevitably stops 15seconds later. It can’t be serious as it always restarts and works perfectly as far as producing electricity is concerned. I suspect that it has to be a sensor that is knocking the fuel pump relay off.

Hi yes, of course, no problem I had huge trouble many years ago tracking down a manual. If you PM me your email address, I will send you a link to my server so you can download the HFL and Engine manuals which I scanned in PDF format.

If the Genny has been disconnected, or left/unused, for a long time you may just need to flash the rotor winding to re-charge the capacitor. It is a relatively simple process described in the manual IIRC.

Is there any chance I can grab a copy of the hfl manual as well. Got a problem with trying to reflash an old H1N 3.5, everything else seems to work fine just no output and capacitor has no volts

After working fine for a while mine has decided to cease to function.
It's seems to be fuel starvation,it will start but not pick up and then cut out, there's a good flow to the injector pump so I'm thinking it may be the stop solenoid stuck.
Anyone had that?
