I'm honoured to have six Dunkirk Little Ships staying with me tonight and tomorrow night. After which the Swan Uppers will be with me on Thursday.

I count myself a very lucky person

By the time he has positioned the camera on its tripod.filled the flash powder holder.dropped the glass plate in and put his head under the hood...they all had got fed up and moved. anyway :)
Did hear they were getting colour TV down that way soon as well ?

Yes, but it's 'istoric innit - so many things lorst f'rever for want of a few clicks (then fighting with a PC to upload the things.
Like - not taking a picky of Bluebird at the weekend; unlikely to see her on t'river again.

Byron - get a sibling / family to take a photo with one of those mobile phone thingys (or your own..) and post it here.

AND yes, you are a very lucky person.....

FWIW we went downstream in company with two LS through Hambledon who wouldn't give us 'the time of day' - so methinks respec' for the boats but not a lot for the owners.....

Here's a video taken for me on my Iphone, which I couldn't work.
Nope! Cannot work out how to upload the darn thing. So I have bunged it up at Utube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uWseOO4IGjU&feature=youtu.be
Rubbish shots look even worse on Utube, SORRY!

Au contraire - Methinks it's a pretty good effort for a first attempt. Perhaps the pan was a bit fast - but the focus was the phone's fault, not yours.
Before long you'll be up to B1's quality - but then he doesn't do movies....

We count ourselves very lucky to be able to enjoy your hospitality and so glad to see you looking well. Thanks again.
