I'm buying a fitting that comes with Hep o2 15mm fittings. I want to use it with 13mm ID hose. How easy is it to get a hosetail converter-to do the job. Can anyone point me in the right direction re a supplier.

From the hep20 fitting which you place an insert, a standard 15mm compression fitting connecter will go on this end.

I am not exactly familiar with the terminology of the hose type you are connecting but one of the two following methods would be sure to work.

1. stretch the 13mm pipe in the kettle and squeeze it onto a 10mm or 15mm copper pipe depending on the internal diamater. Use a jubilee clip for additional security. then either through a 10-15 reducer or a 15mm straing connector onto the hep20.

2. On garden hose pipe it is possible to place an olive and a straight connector. It may be worth trying to see if a straight connector olive will fit your pipe. and tehn connect onto the hep20 from there.

If you can get a 10mm coupling and a 15 to 10 reducer, put the 10mm coupling on the end and push the 13mm hose on this. Try and get a Yorkshire fitting coupling as they have 2 ribs that hold the solder. These will hold the hose on when you tighten the jubilee clip.
