Henry Mayhew and Ecocats ...

May be old news, but the PLA has just put into service one of two new launches; yep, Ecocats. The Chelsea will patrol between Teddington and Putney. Low wash, miserly engines and solar panels - old Henry has clearly hit all the right buttons on this one.

One claimed advantage is much lower decks that will enable PLA staff to talk with 'rowers and other leisure craft' more easily.

ooh yes, about 120tons. I guess he might have gone off on a campaign to damage the oil infrastructure out there in an effort to push up the prices a bit, $52 is obviously a bit too cheap for his liking.
