anyone planning to go to this years food festival in Henley?

food festival

We went when it was last on (2 years ago), when it was located in the town centre, and was a great day out.
This year they have moved the venue to Phyllis Court, so great access for boaters mooring at Fawley Meadows next door.
Loads of restaurants offering small mini tasting dishes (for a small price) to fill you up in the day, plus if the last one was anything to go by, you can buy some great meats for the BBQ in the evening direct from the sellers at the show.

he was there at the last one we went to.

Highlight of the previous shows, were the chefs demo's - best one being Mike Robinson. His demo involved bringing in 1 complete deer (minus head) plus some rabbits, and then demostrated along with his butcher, how to skin, cut up the various cuts and then different ways of cooking them - then handed out to the audience, very tasty

Just checked , i'm off that weekend too !!

No one will want to come through , we'll all be at the food festival , getting fat ... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
