Henley Festival line-up

Weds - Elton John
Thurs - Elvis Costello
Fri - Bryn Terfel and WNO
Sat - Shirley Bassey
Sun - Will Young

Elton John is an epic act, and a great starter. The crowds will love it!
Elvis Costello, one of those great unknowns (not everybody knows him, but they would all know his music!) Fantastic in every way.
Friday, as usual is the Classical act. Good background music for those who don't like Classical, the elderly people will love it! (Go on...bite ;-) )
Saturday: Can't wait! Burly Chassis is still alive and kicking, so well worth a punt...
Sunday: Was planning on staying, but will leave on Sunday morning to secure moorings as far away as possible....Will Young is poor quality manufactured shite... :-(

All IMHO of course, the OAP's may beg to differ :-)

Meh, no booms no party... Still gonna go up for a look see though.

Now 80's rewind lineup is EPIC however... Won't be going in this year though (first time we won't go in) cos I got buy a house and ain't got no money

Have rather foolishly paid for a pontoon berth for Thursday/Friday/Saturday. I've got tickets for each evening but may well pass some or all of them on to someone else.

I'm not sure what the logistics of getting to and form the boat during the day are, if we leave it on the pontoon.

Anybody know?

How do you book a pontoon berth for the Festival ? is it through the official festival event organisation or a third party ?

If you have a berth in the enclosure everybody on board must have a ticket, so if you give yours away, you will be mooring in contravention of your mooring agreement.

You may access your berth (including non ticket holders) until 1730.

That`s great news, would not be the same without them, Will have to wait and see if they will be charging boats to moor on them

Maximum two out this year! It's going to be pretty busy with those normally third out continuing round and round all evening. Have they really made it any safer? I think not.

Wonder if that will just apply to boats staying overnight? On the evening there can be 4 or 5 boats out which all clear off after the fireworks
