Henderson Mk 5 Bilge Pumps

Hi All.
I have E mailed info at whale pumps about this,but never got a reply.
Does anyone still have any of the old style "Through Bulkhead" pumps in stock ?
The hose barb on mine has finally cracked, but the important bit, the Back, is still ok.
If nothing else, I will have to buy the Universal model, and use the front from that.
As far as I understand the new Universal, to use it through a bulkhead, the pump body now is Horizontal, as opposed to the Vertical of the old model. I do not have the space for that,in its current position.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

You can buy a new "lid" as a spare. They have the added advantage of fitting Mk4 bodies so if you've an old Mk4 and can't refit it, it's a cheaper option than complete replacement.

Had a similar problem with our MkV bilge [pump, except that ours was pretty terminal in all departments. Could not fit the Universal in its thru hull mode, it took up too much space, so had to bite the bullet and buy the sanitary model ( white) which has thru hull in the required installation mode. I spoke to one yacht owner who had given up on the MkV and installed a Whale Gusher Titan, which does offer a thru bulkhead mode. He said it was much more efficient than the MkV and the spares kits were a lot cheaper.
