Hempel Antifoul , Thinners

So Hempel say use 808 thinners to clean brushes and to thin down antifoul by 5% . I need some but not available local is there an equivalent .

Looking at the data sheet it's mainly xylene (75-90%) which is a common thinner for AF.

Is'nt xylene one of the components of modern petrol? I find petrol quite an effective thinner and brush cleaner.
