Helping Amazon contribute to the UK via the RNLI

Most of you probably already knew this but...:


Did you know that any purchase on Amazon made through the RNLI website means that 5% of the amount spent goes to the RNLI ?

I wish Amazon would contribute UK tax rather than donations to the RNLI. Maybe there should be a government website that you can go through to buy things from Amazon where all taxes will be contributed to our government.

Probably me being a numpty, but how do I check that will happen once I'm in Amazon.co.uk? Or do I have to go all the way throught checkout first?

Follow the link from the RNLI website. It's not very intuitive though.

The amount of tax which Amazon avoid paying could probably run the RNLI and reinstate some emergency tugs to boot!
