Help Yanmar 4LHA-STZP 240 Hp Problems

Hi Folks I have a Bayliner 285 With a Yanmar 4LHA-STZP engine and a Bravo Three Duo Prop, i have a problem with a rattle coming from the drive area, i have removed the drive leg and found the inner part behind the gimbal bearing where the drive shaft fits is showing signs of rust, i am told the drive plate causes this problem and the engine has to be removed to get at it, does any one have any experience of this problem. Also where is the best place to get spares for this Engine.
