Help with Kindle, please...not very boaty

Thanks for that, but whatever I try fails to get the Gutenburg books from Kindle PC to the Kindle.

What I do to get them there is to open the Kindle, press the menu button, then select Experimental, which turns on the browser. You then need to select Google from the preloaded favourites and use the onscreen keyboard to type in Gutenburg, and select Gutenburg Kindle. After that you can search for books and download them directly to the device.

Thanks Norman, that sounds like a very pragmatic approach. Glad I bought the old 3g model with keyboard so that I can still browse.

More thanks, Norman, that worked a treat. I've got so many books to read now, that I won't have any time for kayaking on holiday (particularly as one of the books is the Kama Sutra).

You obviously went to the "most popular" page. I went down the list and picked up a few classics plus "Latin for Beginners" as I have long wanted to learn a bit of latin.
