Not easy to sell this type of boat at the best of times. The market is very narrow and difficult to set a value. You could try the specialist brokers that advertise in Classic Boat as they are likely to be in touch with the market. You may find it easier if the boat is accessible to potential buyers - for example in one of the Thames yards.

Otherwise you have to try and advertise yourself in places such as Boats and Outboards and Ebay.

Good Luck!

thanks for the help. it is very hard to try and sell this lol my grandad thought it would be a straight forward thing oh well.
any more advice or sites would be appreciated.

I have recently sold my boat 'Kala Sona' and it was a very difficult thing to do and it was advertised for over a year. Probably the best broker I spoke to was Peter Gregson of Wooden Ships ( http://www.woodenships.co.uk/ ). He and his son run the business and is very pro-active. I was disappointed that he did not sell my boat - that privillege fell to a long standing advertisement in 'Boats and Outboards'.
