Hi, My husband has the choice of either a new Sessa Dorado 32 or a Rodman 1250. I am not a sailor and would like some advice as to which of the two boats would be best. He is going fishing in the North Sea for leisure purposes and there will normally be just the two of us. Both boats look nice but I have no idea which one to favour. Any opinions would be helpful.
Thanks

I would go for the Rodman 1250 - a better all weather boat with an awesome hull that can be specified with some luxury cruiser options that will keep you happy while he is messing around with fish /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

One problem with asking for opinions is that you'll get just that , opinions . Everyone has their own ideas on what makes the right boat for them , so it may be easier if you tell us what your priorities are and let the combined minds of the forum come to a conclusion , if you're lucky

I also think the Sessa is also a less expensive boat being smaller, the design is cool and modern and the cockpit seems the same size as the Rodman altough the boat is about 2 metres (6 feet) smaller
I suggest to have a long visit on both boats have a seatrial and then decide, if money and size is no issue

How do you manage to view the article without paying?

through the power of Google /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

or as suggested, I would guess that the manufacturer is keen to have it seen...

Many thanks for your opinions. My husband wants a good boat to fish from and I want one that is stable in the chopy north sea, especially as I get sea sick. I did wonder if the smaller boat would be easier to handle as 99% of the time it will only be the two of us and I am not much help.
