Help wanted to prepare Gitane for the season

Just seen my schedule for work and the bottom line is that the time I thought I had to prepare the boat for the season, I no longer have.

So, can anyone recommend anyone who can do some work on Gitane for reasonable cost. Gitane is 21ft on the hard at Bradwell.

Things on the todo list are:

1) Anti fouling.
2) Varnish exterior wood
3) Replace some of the wood that has rotten away. This will need a bit of woodwork done
4) Epoxy in some dings.
5) Replace one of the winches.

Probably a few days work I guess.

I have a couple of friends who have used Barnaby who is based at BRadwell. He does everything. He has an advert in the tower.

Went to bradwell yesterday to get barnaby's contact details. Couldn't find his details on the notice board, but the gentlemen in the tower, always helpful and friendly, had the details I was looking for.

In my own little world I like to inhabit from time to time I like this cold and wet, on the grounds that if we get it all the horrible weather over and done with now there wont be any more rain and cloud for the summer. Now I feel better!!

I approached Barnaby when my Countess was on the hard at Bradwell to strip off the old Antifoul , he basically wasn't interested in doing the work , maybe it was to physically demanding , I don't know , needless to say I ended up doing it myself - saved a few quid ...
