Help, was hoping to attend a GMDSS course this weekend but lack of candidates means the course is not going ahead….
Dos anyone know of a course I could get on this weekend (GMDSS) within the South West area.

If you don't mind heading east up the M4 you could try Bisham Abbey Sailing School near Maidenhead. Did mine there & they're brilliant.

Not this weekend I'm afraid Peter, but if you are still not fixed up by the end of the month there will be one on each of the Saturdays 20th, 27th and April 3rd in Exeter. Good and very reasonably priced. Contact the Community Education Centre on 01392 662666.
