I have a pair of tracks for headsail sheets and I need to buy fittings for them. The problem is that people and bits are scattered around the world so I can't measure or photograph them.

The track is T section. Silver in color. It looks like the cars locate with a plunger system into holes along the track. From memory I would guess the flat top of the track to be approx 15mm across. THey are less than one year old and have never been used or fitted.

Is it possible to identify from that so that I can find fittings to match?

Thanks!

It is tricky as there are two basic widths of track, 25 and 32mm AFAIK, and even then the precise dimensions of , say, 32mm track vary between manufacturers. For example Barton 32mm fittings will not easily fit Lewmar 32mm track. I know this from having had to modify Barton sliding cleats to fit on my Lewmar track.

15mm does sound rather narrow, but you may of course be remembering correctly.
