Hi all sorry for the double post as I have put this on the motorboat forum too as I am not sure which is the most appropriate forum but...
please can you advise on what is the best option for the following:
Because we were fitting a spotlamp on top of the radar arch, we had to use an exit point out of the arch where the radar and gps cables came through at the bottom of the arch before they entered a gland on the topside. So we prized out a plug that sealed the original hole where the two wires came out of the arch . The plug was about 50mm diameter but because we have now 3 wires coming through I need to seal the hole ( the original plug which was a combo of rubber and mastic is now useless). Because there is already cables through it doesn't seem that a conventional gland will work -is there a gland that opens on one end to give a scissor effect on the cables? Or what would the panel advise on a suitable sealing process ?
TIA
Mike
