HELP. Simrad RS87 VHF Radio

Hi,

Just wondering if any one knows how to reset or reprogram simrad RS87.

The problem that i currently facing is that tge radio only works on channel 16 and 88, i am not able to select any other channel, (it displays that it is INVALID SELECTION).

Unfortunately there isn't a Simrad dealer. And i have tried to contact simrad customers support but no luck. ?

Any thoughts will be great.

Sounds like it is stuck in Dual Watch.
I have an electronic copy of the manual if thats any help - not a pdf file - a qxd file but my PDF reader opens it.

Unfortunately this manual does not talk about how to reprogram or reset the radio.


I guess that i need the programming software or the maintenance manual ?.

If searching the manual for 'reset' there are a few hits. Wouldn't do any harm to try them.
On pg 19 in the manual for a RS25 there is a description - could that work for you?
