Hi does anyone know what the screw thread is on the Autohelm Short Screw Tiller Pin, I assumed it would be a metric (6mm) but it isn’t, so it may be an imperial or US threadform. Could be 1/4 inch UNF but not sure.
Have just removed the tiller for it’s Winter varnishing and found the pin on my tiller bracket was just sitting in the bracket with no retaining nut so rather than spend the ludicrous price of £22 for a new pin I’ll just order up some s/s nuts when I know what thread it is.
