Help needed with dirty interior head cloth

The material is the kind found in many US built cabins, the white carpet-like substance.

The product, marketed locally as Marine Hull Liner (AKA mouse fur) is pretty robust stuff, my cockpit 'fur-lined' lockers get the water-jet if dirty from fishing etc.
Tony has clearly given some great advice, as usual.

Cleaning

I know u havent gt shore power at that marina! A dehumidifier is needed looking at those pics! However if u can arrest the small pinhole leak that is allowing water ingress it may well help the overall problem. Simple carpet cleaner foam that sprays on stays for a while then rubs off with damp towels maywell do the job. Try some of the dessicant chemical dehumidifers also to prevent damp in the cabin asap. Plenty of elbow grease, buckfast (to drink) and a day at the boat loud music optional should do the trick!!! Sundancer9000 AKA NLSY.
