If anyone has a copy of the book "Alive" - about the Uraguay rubgy team that survived an aircrash in the Chilian Andes and then ate their teammates, please PM me.

I met someone tonight that claims to be one of the survivors and I want to verify some facts before spreading what he said all over my website.

John - there is a copy on abebooks.co.uk of the book "Alive - the story of the Andes survivors" by Piers Paul Read at the appalling price of 56 pence(!!!) + p & p
I think the bookshop selling it is :-

Griff Rhys Jones and Mel Smith once did a TV sketch where an interviewer was trying to extract a guilty secret from an air crash survivor. Eventually the interviewee broke down and confessed "All right I admit it, we did actually eat the airline food. We had no choice, we had finished all the passengers"
