Years ago i changed my above helm halogen 12v downlighter lens from white to red.

I kept the white lens as spares - Reds came from Princess supplier mpi I think.

Problem is I have used the two spares as when changing the small lamps is easy to drop or break the lamp lens covers.

Last w/e I managed to smash a lens and as its an over countertop galley one of three the defused light is different to the unbroken other two lights.

Went on line and cant find mpi. PMYS parts cant find a reference either

Can anyone assist or lead me to a source of spares for early 2000ths 12v downlights?

Thanks

Need a picture mjf . Cantalupi Dallas lights were, for example, popular among mainstream builders then, but cannot confirm without a picture and a diameter. If the lights are not available now we can suggest a replacement LED unit that looks the same, maybe

I have a similar problem. Throughout my boat I have Cantalupi Dallas (anyone got any spares?) but in the heads their is a smaller downlighter and one of the frosted glass lenses is missing. It is just a flat / round piece of frosted glass but I wouldn't know where to get a replacement.

I have Dallas.

My solution was to buy "new" square ones off Coastal Rides ( they were the only ones i could find with the same hole size - you would not think it was that difficult ! - 68 mm I think) for the master cabin.

This then freed up 8 lights to use as replacements for the ones with broken springs and or glass.

I have a few spare but sadly I wont be passing them on! The Dallas springs are badly mounted and the lugs break off and there is really no way to repair it.

Thanks jfm, a photo! Yes - I should have thought of that but at the time I thought a quick google mpi would provide a replacement , failing that PMYS plymouth who need a photo too!

The LED route might be an idea as the area wants bright light and i do'nt need dimmable either.

Thanks for the manufacturer name - will revert after next visit aboard.
