ok,

that's an odd one, hope it's not offensive, if so apologies and I'll delete (or rather empty the contents as I'm not allowed to delete posts...)

OK, over the 4yrs of the rebuilt I was collecting various bits and even more bits and then a few more. Now that MiToS is back on the water, I do have a few things I'd probably want to sell, problem is that I've got no idea how (avoiding ebay that is). Yes, answer is put them on the for sale, but I need to have prices there and I'm struggling a bit. Care to suggest ranges that are reasonable and then I'll decide if it makes sense or if I should give them to someone around here locally.. The initiative for selling them abroad is that this way I can get some money on my paypal which due to the capital controls we're still facing is not easy to do atm (haven't tried yet). Not keen on spending a morning in the bank trying to explain that I need to buy a few arduino boards and a couple of N2K sensors for my black and fresh water tank :D

Anyway, list is:

  • Garmin GPSMAP 520, brand new in it's box with protective cover, mount base, powercable, etc.
  • Garmin GPSMAP 545S, secondhand, bare unit. Works fine (tested with the 520 powercable...).
  • Garmin GPSMAP flushmount kit for the above, brand new. I can find it for around 30usd on ebay.
  • Garmin GPSMAP 3006C, secondhand plotter with cable. No protective cover, no GPS mushroom. HASN'T got integrated gps antenna as the other two. Works fine, tested it even with my digital radar dome (which is NOT for sale...). Screen on all most of them is problematic, mine works fine but is not shinny all around, Cleaning or polishing and a protective cover should be enough.
  • Garmin GSD20 sounder, secondhand, bare unit, no cable. Tested works (says the technician, haven't bothered buying the cable and wiring it up to the 3006C), probably should do.
  • Aermar thruhull P319, plastic depth sensor, brand new with 6pin Garmin plug. I can find it for around 200usd on ebay.
  • Bluechart g2 Vision VEU001R, English channel, v16 on sd card (suits the above Garmins). Came with my GPSMAP751 plotter (the reason I'm selling all that lot above...). Tried advertising it for 100gbp, didn't work, so probably less..

As I said, according to ppl views, I may decide to donate the s/h 545 to a mate with an old small sailing boat, or give dirt cheap the 3006C to another one here that for some odd reason likes it a lot!

cheers

V.

Vas, the only one of the above I am familiar with is the 520, and I paid about £300 for mine 7 or so years ago. New in box now? I would say £200 ish, but not sure. Have you looked for these on E Bay to see what they sell for? G2 Vision Chart, maybe £80 ish?
Sorry, can't help more.
