Booked a day at bisham next week. They said once I get my own I can then opt for a second day but I'll see how I get on first I think, weather seems to be turning so I'm guessing the waters will be quieter. Need to think about mooring, I'm in Sunbury, can anyone recommend good value mooring? I've only been to shepperton marina which looks like excellent facilities but may come with a heavy cost?

There are EA moorings to rent on the back of Sunbury Lock island. Contact the Shepperton navigation office behind Shepperton Lock. There is base mooring information and an application form to download on the .gov website, just google it.

Just an update, I had my lesson and it was brilliant, would recommend the course for anyone looking for some quality tuition! Now to find a boat!
