Sounds of the Sixties will be over in an hour (GB iplayer), it's 30 degrees at least (Nigeria), it's pointless leaving the secure area, nothing to see and the Guest House room is beginning to feel like a prison cell. I think I've also dealt with all the 'roaches', so how about your favourite pictures of the year chaps and chapesses? It might turn this: into Haven't got 2013 photos here but these arfe from 2012.

Reminds of years and years ago, I was at Woolverston with a chum. This was before getting back into yachting. There was a guy with a cat alongside calling 'anyone want a bit of fun'. some chap said 'I'll give a go' and got on board. 2.5 nanoseconds later he was hanging on for grim life as the cat took off across the Orwell with about 40% of one hull in the water! I thought then bl**dy terrifying.

All lovely thanks. Mind you I'm going to avoid Murmansk! I think my next foreign jaunt (non sailing) I have to transit in Moscow.

There is something about still water and exposed mudbanks - and landfalls on the North Sea coastline of the Continent.

Ah yes. Reminds me though that TG is sitting waiting with her diesel tank emptied and open ready to be cleaned, for the genny sheet track to be lengthened, for mod to the fender locker and a thousand other minor bright ideas.
