On our Beneteau Oceanis 400 the Yanmar panel has a hinged polycarbonate lid, protecting the controls from drunk passengers, the helmsman's coffee, etc.
The lid is supported by two 'thingies' either side, both of which are broken and I want to replace. They may have been clasps before they broke, intended to hold the lid down maybe.
I'm hoping to find some sort of helm-suitable support, with a rubber seat for the lid to make contact with. I don't really know what to look for; numerous searches for lid supports, shelf supports and the like don't bring up anything likely.
What would one call this?
And is the cover likely to be original equipment or just something that's been added?
cheers!
