Help identifying an outdrive

Hello All,
I'm trying to identify exactly what outdrive my boat has.
It's a 1984 Sealine 22 Sports, the engine is a Volvo Penta AQ175A. I understand there was only 2 or 3 models of outdrive that went with this engine.

The online owners manuals show a 290 drive in one edition and a 280 drive in another edition. The parts catalogue also lists a 280L drive.

Maybe the detail in the parts catalog will enable you to identify which you have. 290 I think!

There should be a plate on the drive jut to the rear of the UJ bellows at the
top of the gearbox in front of the lid.

If its not here then check the engine block if you find the plate then you should be able to trace the original drive .
