Help identifying a Mariner 60HP engine

I have bought a Mariner 60HP engine, but I cannot find a plate with the serial number any wear. I did find a code on the Freeze plug, (96284150).
Can you help or point me in the direction of finding what engine I have, so I can order parts please?

I have been digging and found that if the cover is genuine, then it is a 1990 - 1993 going by the decals. It has the word sixty on the clam shell case that was used at that time.

Is there a number stamped starboard side of the crank.

Hi. It’s the very common model from the late 80’s (at earliest) and most likely early 90’s. Up to around 95/96 I’d think at latest. Identical to the mercury 60 and made by them, but branded a mariner.
