I am trying to identify and purchase a new fitting for my hydraulic steering. I identified a fluid leak and found the pipe split. So I removed the broken piece and also the fitting and nut. I was then unable to replace the fitting as the pipe would not fit! I have a photo of the nut. I bought a bsp fitting I hoped would be right, but my nut has a finer thread.
It’s for a Catalac 9m. Do you have any idea what I should be ordering?
Thanks
Bea

That nut is probably off a compression pipe fitting, either with an olive or a flare on the pipe. It will be an odd thread not BSP .
Is there a name on the fitting like Wade or Prestex or even Yorkshire?
Do you need a new nut? Why can you not replace the pipe section using the existing fittings?
