How about renfrew? or even clydebank looking accross the clyde with the bridge being the one up cart?

Scrub that wrong type of bridge and too far up stream

following on from ideas above - could it be paisley dock? the E side has the right angle in the dock. (ie if this pic was looking upstream) was there a bridge their (in the background) over the cart before the motorway flyover was built?

most of the (now gone) glasgow docks were high up, unless this was taken at eg HWS
