I'm trying to find a 3/8"NPT (tapered) male to 3/8"BSP (parallel) male adapter in bronze or stainless or brass
I've tried internet searches and local sources but I can't find a parallel BSP male ended one. Anyone know a source or someone who could make one?
thanks in advance.

Not much difference between 3/8" NPT and BSPT, and with brass the difference in the taper side would likely take up and help seal the threads, especially if wound into a steel or cast iron female.

A 3/8" BSPT to 3/8" / 10mm stud fitting will have the correct threads each side. Might have one in my workshop.

How many do you want??

I have a hydraulic company that has BSPP, NPTF, BSPT, UNF, UNC, Metric?

You name it we can get it!

He wants 2. He's accepted my offer to make them for him, but if you've got them on the shelf please let us know. Sizes in his original post.

I have them available only in Stainless Steel @ £15.00 Each + VAT & Delivery to your door?

Just PM me if you require them?

thanks for the follow up replies everyone, I appreciate the effort - colhel has kindly offered to make me a pair. The ones on amazon, ebay etc all have BSP tapered ends on - I phoned all the various companies up and they are incorrectly described. I could probably use a BSP tapered male adapter its not a high pressure joint, but as Colin has offered I would rather have the right thing for the job, otherwise it will just niggle me.

If they are incorrectly described sorry for that. When I was in need of some strange fittings I tended to make by own by cutting the required ends and welding together mostly in stainless steel.

Hi Roger, I did alert Kevin to your link :encouragement: Disappointing they weren't as described.

Edit:: Looking at the picture again, even though one end doesn't appear as tapered as the other, it's normal for BSP thread to seal against the (hex) shoulder. Looking at the picture there doesn't appear to be enough shoulder to affect a good seal

Yes my thinking was that it was tapered both ends and I know OP specified parallel at one end generally you can fit a tapered male into a parallel female but not the other way round.

There was a couple of other links that claimed to have the BSP to NPT adaptor but don't know how true that is.
