Help - Boat info

Hi there,
Currently wondering about purchasing a Hudson Force 50 ketch. I believe thay were designed by William Garden, and built in Taiwan. Does anyone know anything about them? It seems a lot of boat for the money, ha which makes me nervous!! Is there an owners association that would hold info on them? Any help Gratefully received!
I'm also a little concerned about the age , as they are mid-late 70's. Does Fiberglass age and go brittle at this sort of age?
