URGENT REQUEST
I NEED TO KNOW HOW TO TIME UP... ie. VALVE TIMING AND PUMP TIMING ON A ENGINE.PORT ENGINE NO. 6709- STARBOARD ENGINE NO. 6922 - 125 HP ENGINE
ANY INFO WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED

to set up the injection pump timming you need a special tool which screws in to the side of the bell housing and locks into a hole in the fly wheel to give you the right setup to fit the pump into place.

Yup, that's right, and your friendly local VP dealera usually has one in stock, they aint expensive.

You also need a dial indicator guage and the adapter that screw into the end of the injection pump.

To be honest it is not really a DIY sorta job unless you really know waht you are doing, I have done it before on my old boat, but I am a diesel engineer.
