I have a couple of switches on my Sealine S24 at the helm that don't work. I want to remove them to get to the back. Any one know how this is done without breaking them.
Thanks

What make?
If Carling ( most are) there is a removal tool you use.
The mounting is usually siliconed into the dash
The tool has two ends.
One removes the rocker.
The other allows removal of the switch from the holder. The switch simply has a spring piece of plastic on either side. You goto the back of the switch and slide the blunt end of the tool into the gap on the short edge. It compresses the spring plastic and the switch releases.
The surround will most likely be held in by silicone so just prize I suppose and it will give way.
Odd design to have no rear access.
There is rear access but your arm needs to bend in several directions sort of
