Correct on the age, but I must say she has been very well cared for and comes complete with every receipt for everything done since new!

In a way I guess I'm lucky she has the 150's as opposed the 200's as this seems to have put many a prospective buyer off and hence she had been on the market a while!

I emailed every single broker I could find offering the SS as a straight swap for a Corniche and hey presto.......
 
The Corniche was being Brokered whereas mine was up for private sale.....
Once I got a response from this particular Broker all I said to him was "I'm not interested in what you make on the deal as long as it costs me nothing" OK haulage and cranage were my only outlay and I only had to stump up 50% of the haulage which was cheap as he was backloading!

On Raymarine stuff i have avaialble immediately one tridata master display plus one tridata repeater, and one autopilot control head. These are all mint, new last year, as fitted to my boat at factory, replaced recently by me with ST70 instruments hence surplus

I'll have a longer list later but I'll offer the new/mint stuff for 30% of the current best internet shopping price

When the new E series wides are avaialble late this year, I'll have 3x E120s for sale

Swmbo likes the Corniche - that SS looks sooooo sexy though!
 
Thats a lovely looking boat Rob. BTW, I donty think the 31s are a problem - in these more fuel efficient times drives and smaller engines will probably make more sense, provided the maintenance is kept up to date.

JB thanks it was my only concern but when we actually evaluated our time aboard and usage it matters not a lot what size the engines are! 75% we enjoy just lounging about the marina socialising (due to weather) the rest out in the bay fishing!

SO JB whats in your berth at the mo?

Hanging on to the W24 for a bit. Its a good day boat, and in realirty I have other things to worry about right now than paying for a bigger boat. I think its a good compromise and its cheap to run. If someone offers me the right money for it then it will go, and if that happens I probably will be boatless for a couple of years.

Ho hum.
 
Agree with you entirely, SV. One of my previous boats was a Targa 48 which had a huge expanse of canvas and it was at least a 30 min fight at the end of each day and every time it rained to put up the bloody canopy. A complete nightmare especially as each panel and each zip had to be closed in a particular sequence before the thing went together. Definitely the canopy was one of the major reasons why I went back to a f/b boat. Current boat has no cockpit canopy as the flybridge overhangs the whole cockpit and only small individual covers for the f/b units. 5 mins to put the boat to bed
 
She looks fantastic, Rob. A friend of mine had a Corniche and we cruised together many times. I think they're excellent boats and yours looks particularly well loved. Are the oily bits in as good nick as the rest of the boat?
 
Indeed they are Mike, engines were lifted in 2005 and both had a major recon, as JB had stated in this thread earlier>no probs with these lumps as long as they are well maintained.

As for the boat itself me and SWMBO have fallen in love all over again.....not with eachother I must add, but the boat.
