Actually, in the UK the width would not be a problem. Weight wise, it would depend, but it could just about be kept under 3500kg once on a trailer.

Yep width is within uk limits & dry weight is listed as 2700kg so it can be done within 3500kg
I thought the limits were European wide not country specific, obviously need to check if the rules change within each country you'd pass through but definitely doable in the uk

My wife did the course also – she had to enjoy boating as well, otherwise it was a pointless pastime for me.

This is crucial. We practically live on our boat when not at work and I see many a lonely man pop down to the marina for half an hour to admire their boat solo. They didn't get or follow this advice.

My other half got so into it that she even suggested the last two upgrades (we are on boat number three and still own number two as well) with bigger budgets that I would have thought agreeable.

Good luck, done right you wont regret it!

No there are differences. Eg no height limit in UK, 4m in France.
I used to be responsible for lorries that went abroad and one had a fridge and 1 burner hob fitted so it could be registered as a motorcaravan and move on a Sunday in France!

I'm looking for a boat either and I've read about 25 a lot. Now, I can say, it's a pretty good choice. I got a consultation from a specialist and he told me it's ok for a newbie. I'm going to buy this model soon.
Wish you good luck!

Hello! I'm going to order Windy 25. I got a consultation from a specialist and he said it is a nice variant as the first boat. Also, my mates approved my choice. I was surprised to know that here is a thread with a model of this boat, I think, that means Windy 25 is really well choice.
