I have just joined this forum and thought I would pop in and say hello.

I live in East Anglia in the UK and have a 17 foot Fletcher Arrowstreak Bow Rider and a recently purchased Fletcher 19 GTS.

First thing to ask is how do I upload pictures :)

Thanks

Dennis

Hi Dennis, welcome to the forum.
Re pics...click on 'insert image' icon (next to the film reel icon), opt to 'select image' from either your computer or url, click upload and Bobs your unc. Preview it first by clicking 'go advanced' then click 'preview'.

Hi
Welcome

The best way to post photos is to set up a free Photobucket account - www.photobucket.com
Then upload any photos that you want to post - I always compress and set the image size of my photos before uploading.
I use albums in Photobucket to help manage the pics.
Then when posting on this forum, you insert a link that fetches your uploaded photo and displays it.
The link is a standard internet URL preceded with the this -
You can make posting pics easier in the Photobucket settings (click on the little gear icon) - make sure IMG Code and Easy Linking Mode is is ticked.
Then, when you browse to your Photobucket Album, you can cut/paste the complete image link into your YBW post.

Here's an example

This link

Produces this pic

I'm sure that there are links on the forum somewhere where people have documented the process better than my explanation above.

Can't help you with why you don't have the option to browse pics from your pc I'm afraid but as Hurricane says, it's better to use photo bucket or such like anyway. Re moderating posts...only as a new member.

Hi Dennis,

Welcome aboard - good to see another Fletcher fan amongst the ranks!

Nice setup there :encouragement: The Discovery will make a good tow vehicle and ideal for launch & recovery too. I had a first generation Discovery before the Range Rover and used to tow/launch a friend's 19' Sportscruiser from time to time as well as bringing the Arrowbolt from Scotland to Torbay!

How long have you had the 19'? Worth checking carefully for any water ingress around the hatch and the opening in the screen as both these areas can let water into the cuddy. These boats offer a great deal for their size, are very capable and surprisingly agile.

Cheers,

Robin

Hello Robin

Only just got the 19 2 weeks ago and Yes I have the leak at the hatch, not too bad though and I think I know where it is getting in. I will have a go at sealing it in the spring. The actual hatch seal is on I think it is coming in around the joint with the fiberglass
