Hi to all

Just joined after sitting on the outside for a while and discovering what a nice forum this is, my history is I used to have a couple of small speed boats used in North wales a few years back and the other at Kingsbury water park a few times and again wales area

My aim now I am older and saved a few quid up is to get myself a sports boat that will suit myself and the wife as the kids have left home I am looking at boats in the 35-40ft range and to berth on the south coast area some where

been following the thread of the rebuild on the fairline targa very interesting and scary haha

We kept boats in Poole harbour (Cobbs quay) for many years, a great harbour & easy w/e trips up to the Solent or holiday trips across the channel.

Thanks I have had the nick name finchy since school over 30 years ago and it just stuck

Regards boats not sure really big step for us to spend our life savings on a boat but wife lost a close friend last year at a younger age than her and she has a different look on life now she says we cant take it with us

I like the sealine sc35 but not sure it will be gig enough if the kids visit I also like the targa 40 but not sure if that would be to big my max budget will be 150k what would others suggest and what engine options fuel consumption servicing etc etc
