Helford River

Had an (unexpected) bonus last Sat night while moored on a visitors buoy at Helford River , a splendid firework display from a private house garden party. Must have cost someone a lot and we had the best view of all
Anybody else see it?

There was a similar Summer Solstice fireworks party somewhere in Plymouth which was visible, and audible, for up to 15 miles around. They need hardly have bothered because later that night we were treated to a natural display of thunder and lightning for over an hour

2 yrs ago there was a fireworks competition on plymouth hoe. 6 manufacturers had 10 mins each to show what they could do, spread over 2 evenings. very impressive. half the local population went out into the sound to watch.
