Heatwave!
It seems to have taken forever this year, but at last summer has arrived in the UK. During the coming week most of the UK can expect generally sunny and rather warm conditions, with only light rain and isolated showers at times.
High pressure will build and become centred across the UK. This type of 'blocked' weather pattern takes a lot to be changed. As a result the UK can expect increasingly warm and sunny weather, leading to heatwave conditions during the last ten days of July. During the last week of July we are expecting temperatures to possibly reach 95F in the south.
