Anybody see the london local news last night.

EA rep said that the public enquiry into the Maidenhead flood relief scheme was told that the project would increase the risk of flooding down stream but it decided this would not be the case.

The reporter then asked it the enquiry had got it wrong ?

No, they got it right he replied.

Does he think he bullsh*ting a load of infants with as little grasp of reality as his own or is it a direct policy of lies ?

Please Mr EA, if your not going to tell it as it is at least give us some credability and say nothing.

Tis better to be thought a fool than to prove it by opening your mouth.

Chris,

Just in case you hadn't noticed, the policy of deceit, lies and spin has been promulgated down from Tony's cronies, through to local gov't and gov't agencies. They all deliberately lie in your face and expect you to accept what ever they say. Unfortunately, this policy has also been adopted by large corporations in order to dupe investors, customers and employees. Quite frankly, if any of the above mentioned, told me it was raining in a rain forrest, I would have to go there and check for myself.

Me, cynical? Nope, I'm just experienced!!
