Went in there at lunchtime, and they have what they describe as "work gloves" for £5/pair.

They're sort of neoprene-type material with palm and finger grips (and a nice warm lining), and will maek excellent sailing gloves.

Similar gloves are freely available in lots of other places though, including eBay. The Lidl price isn't exceptional.

I can pop into Lidl while out and about locally. Likewise Screwfix or Homebase. Do either do these have anything similar?

Based on experience they are excellent for the job.
