I intend to take a number of leisurely 1 week cruises (starting at Easter) with the aim of getting my boat down to the med. I am looking for (reasonably) experienced crew that can help me whilst enjoying the pleasures of France, Spain and Portugal along the way. My boat (Beneteau 40cc) is based at Levington and is a very comfortable yacht for cruising. I have to return to the UK every so often to keep the money coming in so will be leaving the boat at various locations with good airport, ferry connections. Costs are on an equal share basis + own travel exps. Please pm me if interested.

Hello,

I "sailed south" from Brighton in 2004 & got as far as Barcelona. Sold my boat since but could be interested in the occasional week/s cruising. Am 50, have yachtmaster + 5k offshore experience - so can tie knots and keep watch. What are your plans? dates?

Hi, I'd be interested, esp cruising the spanish coast - I've done 2 trips from uk to gib, but always as quickly as poss offshore non-stop so would be keener on slower pace. also yachtmaster, owned moody 31 & etchell ea for 5 years.

Hi Oldbarn-
I too would be interested in your plans, probably for a week, 10 days. I have family in Alicante, so Gib upwards could be favourite, but not essential.
I have Dayskipper theory/practical, VHF and first aid. I also speak reasonable French and good Spanish. I own a little Seawych which I sail from Roa in Morecambe Bay (slightly more tide range than Barcelona!)
My profile is on www.findacrew.net, member 31060.
Best wishes for your plans,
