Heading out on first trip of the year

Heading from Temple to Laleham this weekend for the boat to get painted and cleaned up. Haven't decided which of the two rainy days to do yet. Third attempt to move it - the other two times brought terrible rain and snow expecting a plague of locusts this time. Say hi if you see us going past.

Dropped her off around 4. Interesting day on the river. Lockkeepers at all locks except Romney which was during lunchtime. Other than a very rude hire boater at Romney who neither offered to help work the lock or thank me for so doing, it was fairly calm.

Only drama was was my licence which was left in a prominent position at home so I didn't forget it. Naturally, I forgot it.
