After much contemplation in the heads I have come to the conclusion also after much trial and error that the current range of heads seat hole size does not allow full storage of tackle without a bit of adjustment to avoid embarassing accidents happening .
Is it just me boasting or are others affected this way .
Apart from standing up( not recommended in heavy weather ) are there any seat adaptors on the market ?

Surely a candidate for "Post of the day"? I look forward with interest to the detailed replies. Sadly, like most people, I don't seem to have a big problem with marine toilets. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Not just you.

Here's my special bar stool.

If you try the facilities at the Dart Marina then its exactly the opposite, I nearly slipped through the seat. As its the countries most expensive Marina I can only assume its to do with the size of the back end and the type of people they attract.

Marine toilets come in two sizes - regular bowl and compact bowl. The problem could be that you're trying to accomodate regular tackle in a compact bowl. Doomed to failure.
If this is not the case and the problem lies with the size of the tackle rather than the size of the bowl, could I suggest you sit on the bowl whilst peeing in a bucket. Then empty the bucket into the heads and flush.
Oh, and you might want to avoid mentioning this situation over in the lounge - you might be inundated with offers of marriage, or at least a trial run.
