Head exhaust Fan

I have a non-working exhaust fan in the shower/ head area of my Crownline 270 CR. I have checked the power to the switch and it's OK. However, when I removed the four screws to the fan cover that is located in the upper wall I cannot find away to remove the fan from the flexible duct work. Does anyone know how to gain access to this fan?
