I have been with HKJ since owning our present boat, 15 years. They have proved to be very flexible over sailing area, allowing us to sail both to the Baltic and the Gironde on standard Brest - Elbe rates. Since then in the Med the rates have gone up but not extortionately so. They have never asked us for a survey and give 10% reduction for CA membership. I have never needed to claim but I have heard of many who received highly satsfactory service when they did. They are immediately forthcoming with cover notes in foreign languages, no extra cost.
