Havengore & tides - again....

One detail I forgot. V. helpful bridge operator works on Southend tide times but at the shallowest part of the passage the tide was clearly ebbing (or at least flowing NE) 15 mins before HW Southend. Not surprising but worth bearing in mind.

This is a proper mud 'n' sand East Coast cruise. Rays'n on Saturday, Havengore Sunday, tomorrow up to Swale Marina at the head of Conyer Creek. Last night we were surrounded by the cries of mother and pup seals, tonight it's a cacophony of Curlews, Oystercatchers and other twitchers delights. I hope Boris doesn't get his way...
