£215 m has been handed out by the Banks from Jan 2011 to June 2011 to members of the public who have been sold PPI cover.

I expect anyone with a marine mortgage or any sort of boat loan was also most likely sold a PPI policy (even if you didnt know about it).

Its a fairly straight forward claim if you havent already done it.

Although I can arrange this and claim commission on it (if anyone sends me a pm ) its easy to do yourself, just get your agreement out, phone your Bank and ask for your payments back.

the buggers were always trying to sell me this **** for years ,knowing full well,that being self employed etc etc ,would never be able to claim a cent.

No Pete never had a ppi or come to think of it a loan other than a home mortage.

Its nice to hear mr general public can get his money back having been sold something thats been clearly wrong, but what niggles me is how many other financial tricks in life have we been sold in the past?, how I look at ppi is, you have paid for it then got it back, if you have never paid out on ppi then you have nothing to gain.
