OG,would appreciate any hints as to location of RCC club members, for reasons of general interest of course and not to drop by and get a free beer cos we are going to be in the area today.

Err....its small triangular pennant which when new was bright yellow.
It is defaced by a passant or possibly rampant lion in bright red.
As most members are too mean to buy new ones replace the word "bright" with "manky and faded".:)
Just off to get some fuel for the boat :(

Wherever they are..... I hope they like rain.

Torrential at Henley.... Had to moor for 30 mins so far as I can't see a thing and don't fancy a soaking st locks on my own.

Long rain cloud.... Blue either side .... Heading NE .... Deliberately spoiling my day out.

Coffee and three doughnuts so why should I care? :D

Saw a very dodgy looking flotilla of reprobates passing under Twickenham Bridge as I drove home from work about 3:30pm. I wonder.......

loads of mismatched fenders dangliny willy nilly and acting like they own the navigation ? ..................could be them :)

Went up to Windsor last night to and got two frumites for the price of one.
B1 and Ramage.

Popped over to the Italian restarant in Runnynose...good meal nice staff.
Took about an hour to get back to civilisation, the M4 and M25 was,for want of a better word....deserted.
ie.spent most of it in that rarely visited the trucks and pensioners in Honda Jazz only lane next to the hard shoulder....and we were not hanging around.

The river was deserted going up from Windsor to Bray. The only boat moving on the Boveney to Bray stretch was a narrowboat which was coming through the temporary bridge.

We were the last boat through before the lockie went off duty though.

Snowcat & I had enjoyable afternoon visiting B1 and Maggie on his famous "small but perfectly formed" boat. Nice to meet Oldgit & Sue again too.

As Snowcat points out above...three forumites!

Oldgit was not counting himself, so yes, 4 forumites in total. There was a mention of kedge anchors......

:D

Do not want to to start a fight....but surely it was 5 different opinions on ROCNA ?

Ps.OG was out fishing today and inflicted a crushing defeat on a fishing buddy with
1 x crab and 1 x V.small Bass.

But being a 'Newbie', I've got a new, truely blue burgee. Must remember to get my bow man to hold it high next outing, or then again, there's the 21 miles of the Great River Race in September!
